Description Making these is kinda fun, but I need to make a better font for it. I made this one up kind of hastily and it... is kinda crappy.

You HAVE been watching FMA Brotherhood. Those look like the summoning circles from the intro.

I was making these long before I started watching that, remember? Hehe.

The ones in FMA are more lines with symbols at important points, where I was just lazy and did mostly symbols, hehe. XD

You can make fonts, yourself?

Man, this looks really neato. I mean, I know it's all effects and round shape, but it's really cool.

If you don't mind me sayin', though, the circle itself looks rather simplified. Perhaps that's because there aren't as much lines as font? Runic circles have big thick lines. They also have a lot of shapes. You do simple really well and that's part of why your art is so appealing, so when you factor your own style into it, it looks absolutely great. It's always hard with your art to know if it's too simple or too complex, because your designs are more simple than those crazy artists that just piles a whole bunch of stuff into everything, like craploads of belts or extra fabric or a whole bunch of shapes piled on top of each other in the case of a runic circle.

Haha. Yeah, I didn't do too much with just lines - I made the circles mostly out of symbols. At this point, I feel like any more than what I've got here would clutter it up a bit. It's supposed to be a background so it can't be so detailed that it draws the eye away from the content of the page (it probably still does... I wanted to flatten the colors a bit, but it looked less shiny! Haha.)

I make fonts with Fontstruct . It's pretty easy. It's not the most versatile editor ever, but it's free, and font-editing software is not cheap.

OH MAH GAWD THANK YUUUHHH [link]

Been trying to find a font maker for ages. It displays on the front page that it can even make other language characters, I'm looking forward to that if that's how it works. I've been wanting to make my personal writing into a font for sooo long, and I have a Paint file with perfectly sculpted letters, even symbols for the planets, and zodiacs, stars, arrows. x3
I doubt Fontstruct'll work for all those crazy characters. But I'm just glad I can finally use my writing as a font.

and by the way, your own font looks really nice. :3

There is a better place to make your handwriting into a font, if that's what you mean. Having your handwriting turned into a font is popular among comic artists who want to do their own lettering but prefer to work digitally. I'll see if I can find you a link if you're interested. It costs money though, unlike FontStruct.

FontStruct can make pixel fonts, though, which is great for me with my game making, haha. You can make some really cool stuff with it if you're patient, though.

Thank you.
