Yeah, almost. Rereading it atm. Though there are a few things that I don't like in the original story... but still, I like it more than anything, since it's so brutal.
If we talk about the best animated series adaptation I would call it... TAS from 2003?
TMNT 2012 is not as bad as I thought, but it is awfully written(( that could be a masterpiece, but no, it's not. Especially after the 4th season
Still there is nothing worse than Michael Bay's TMNT last movies. Pure abomination.
