It's artistic therapy for the soul. It doesn't work when you can look past the illusion though.

The reason I made these. I think we all needed a little therapy after that.

My god, is that Salvadore too? :') I'm not sure why, but I felt worse for Salvadore than I did for Charlotte. He was such a happy person, a free spirit, and then he comes back home and is like WTF happened. Charlotte knew what was going on, he just came back and WHAM, any friends, family... gone. And he gave you that table piece by piece... despite how simple it was, I liked it and I was happy for every piece that came. And then he sacrificed himself to let me live a life of freedom...
Don't let the feels get to you...
Stay strong...
Stay... OH DAMMIT

Starrulet In reply to TheSnowe [2015-07-13 06:49:17 +0000 UTC]
Yeah. In this version, he didn't get electrocuted while turning on the generator (think of the reason for the slight difference being caution vs. eagerness. In the game, I believe that Salvadore was so eager to help the player escape, that he threw caution out the window. In this version, although still eager, his caution wins the battle of dominating thoughts and as such, doesn't die turning on the generator) I was also a lot more upset when Salvadore died. With Charlotte I was more angry and disappointed (although, anger is a secondary emotion...).

Yeah. He was definitely my favorite character, and I think a bit of me died with him.
Help me!Β Β I'm drowning in feels!!

Haha, no one can save you now! Literally. I can't find an icon that would save you from drowning in your feels.

Welcome!
The only problems with these happier endings is, I think, that it takes away the point of presentable liberty, which is why they technically don't work...

;-; I didn't want the cutie baker girl (Charlotte) to die
You should make one where Mr. Smiley gets his daughters back ((alive))

This is amazing. Just saw Game Grumps and Markiplier play it, but then I viewed the alternate ending somewhere else. It was rough.

Yeah. To be honest, I found the good ending worse than the bad ending.

I'm confused... Which is which?

Starrulet In reply to AlzMarioWolfe [2015-05-03 15:29:59 +0000 UTC]
The good ending is when you manage to escape. The bad ending is when everyone's dead. With exception of Dr. Money. He's always alive. I suppose from Dr. Money's perspective it's all a win situation really...

AlzMarioWolfe In reply to Starrulet [2015-05-03 18:11:36 +0000 UTC]
I thought the bad ending was more touching though.

Starrulet In reply to AlzMarioWolfe [2015-05-03 18:42:40 +0000 UTC]
I thought the bad ending was supposed to mostly explain why the player was locked up. Then again, even though going for the good ending means you get to live alone forever, I agree with you, the bad ending is a bit more touching because you get more depressed.
