Wren found herself out exploring in the early morning deep into desert territory. Losing track of time, the sun rose higher and higher quickly scorching the land and burning her back. Helpless, Wren’s eyes gazed across the endless flat horizon with no sign of reprieve. She would need to escape this horrible heat before it was too late. On she went, with heavy steps that seared her feet. Thirst settling in upon her lips but there was nothing to quench it. After nearly three hours in the punishing rays, Wren spotted an Oasis of sorts. An old refrigerator now barren and rusting and a single palm tree stood amidst the sea of sand and dust. In order to escape the sun Wren would find herself shoved into the depths of that old refrigerator to protect as much of her skin in the shade.
