* Luigi is the lesser known prince, while Mario is popular

* Luigi likes to take quite walks in the royal garden, read, write, poetry and gardening

* Mario likes to practice his fencing, likes to go out on horse rides

* Mario is more athletic, and has a more muscular build

* Luigi also has a muscular build, but isn't as buff as his brother

* Peach is totally and utterly in love with Luigi, and Daisy is in love with Mario, whose in love with Peach

* Luigi is a total romantic
