EDIT: 5/11/23 wow, been a while. Just wanted to clarify the Leeroy Wingkins/Sweetie Belle ship isnβt something I ship anymore, though Leeroy does sound pretty young, the context of it was a different artist who interpreted Sweetie and Leeroy as analagous to her parents and therefore shipped them for fun, so it isnβt inspired by prurient motives, just old fandom weirdness.
Just a new style, Smiley ponies.

Nah, but only because I think they're cousins. Octavia's Pinkie's sister in my headcanon, and Vinyl Scratch's dad, vignette1.wikia.nocookie.net/m⦠is Pinkie's maternal uncle. The funny, terrible awkward thing is is that Pinkie dated Vinyl for a month once, before running into her at a family reunion, and... no one speaks about it. They just looked at each other and went 'aw, fuck', and then wiped that month from their memories. It wasn't intentional on my part or theirs, but I realized it made a kind of terrible funny awkward mess.
I like Octascratch in other stories though. <3

Especially since earlier I saw someone posted this on derpibooru and I couldn't even make it past the first comment before feeling like a terrible person because I ship Sweetie Belle with Leeroy Wingkins, when I only ship it as adults, and I just drew them in their current canon form, not the age I ship them with.
....Plus people ship Sparity, so I don't really think the argument holds much water.
