I just realized that I've shown pictures of Duchess before , but never Socks.
So... meet Socks. We named him Socks because Boots was too masculine and Mittens was too feminine. Socks was a good middle of the road. He was actually the shyest of his brothers when we bought him, but he exploded to life after we got him. He's more jumpy now because he was in here when the earthquake happened , (You can see how that would freak him out, obviously) and he took two days to come back (Duchess came back after one day; it turns out when you've been run over by a car, earthquakes don't phase you.) and now he's startled by loud noises and he's less 'darting through the house on crazy adventures' and more 'needy meowing kitty who doesn't like cuddles'. Like how Duchess is my cat (in the sense that Duchess likes me the best), Socks likes my dad, and since the earthquake he's been really crazy about being around my dad. He also isn't allowed in my room because the guinea pigs are in there, but he actually doesn't ever bother them, he just sits on a ledge above them and stares. He's never hurt them, he just stares at them and they're freaked out by it. He also sheds like a mo'fo.
