Whoa, what’s this!?

I’ve been working on this for a few months now, and finally the Mane 6 (and Spike) are finished! An updated version of utilizing my Headcanon Markings , or at least, starting off with that idea. With some of them, my designs eventually diverged.

The first pass of this you saw here;

Rainbow Dash is the second shortest of the cast, and I gave her a wiry and thin frame, though it isn’t as easy to see under her wings and mane and didn’t end up as extreme as the sketch did.
I tried to give every character their own unique body shape without going as overboard as I did with some of the concepts, wanting to keep it fairly grounded.
You can also see that I combined the original Unique Style haircut with canon’s, something I wanted to do with all of these.
One thing I noticed was that in the original Unique Style drawing, I tried to do my own unique take on each character’s hair as well, but in later drawings, I would replicate the hair of the canon exactly, and honestly, I feel like that was a shame.

Rainbow Dash’s wings are based on, in a completely unsurprising and stereotypical choice, the peregrine falcon’s, the fastest bird around, able to hit 200mph while diving, and her tail feathers are also the same as her wings, unlike Fluttershy.

HEAVILY based on 's design, since I frickin' loved the lightning bolt shoulder thing, but I gave her a diamond patch on her forehead and freckles because her mother has freckles and it gave me an excuse to give her freckles. The dark colors are Pie Hater Dash’s and lighter are her human skin color, with a darker outline so it didn’t look wrong.

I decided to keep the element of the Unique Style that was most, well, unique to mine the same. I didn’t see anyone do it before I did, though it was itself inspired from how drew the tips of her ears as sharing the eye color, I did the same with my eye colors and the hooves.
