if you want my to listen to my experience with animations.... EVERYTHING gets better with lots of blood splatting. trust me on this.
also, it's great practice animating a random stickman being impaled by a giant spike, and try to make it look as realistic as possible.

I'd have settled for a color "remotely related to red somehow" but i guess so.
