Really? That seems totally crazy! You must live in the central part of the globe (or close to it). Snow is wonderful! I like the cold as well.

Haha, a lot of people can't believe it! I've lived in the southern U.S. my entire life. I've seen sleet, hail, and two ice storms - but never snow! I even took a trip to Connecticut one year over Christmas. It didn't snow the entire time I was there, but did the morning after I flew home.

Sad! That would totally depress me. Want to hear something funny? I tell people I live in New Mexico and they ask me what it is like to live in another country. I'm not joking; it is rather depressing actually.

I was a little bummed at the time, but I'd also had a great time there and didn't freeze to death as expected, so it was all right. I'll just stick to snow globes for now.

Also, the New Mexico thing is very depressing. I'm going to delude myself into believing that most of these individuals just misread and/or mishear what you've said.

Although, something similar has happened to me before. At work, we wear name tags with our home towns printed on them. I was raised in Louisiana, so my tag reads, "Nameoftown, LA." I can't tell you how many times folks have asked me about Los Angeles.
