Description

I still have a long way to go before I've finished Beast Wars, but I still wanted to give Rubywing a try! I will probably not do too much with her, but if I find it necessary I will come back and update any info here once I'm done with the show!

Backstory:

Rubywing was created by the Predacons by reforming one of the Maximal protoforms which crashed on earth some time after their arrival to the planet. It's uncertain why she ended up being child-like, perhaps a fault in the programming, but Megatron took it as an opportunity to raise her into loyal warrior, instead of having to deal with another rebellious, and fully battle capable, adult. The tiny Predacon immediately imprinted on Megatron and now follows him around like a tittle duckling, well, at least when she's not up to some mischief.

Although a Predacon, Rubywing seems to have no interest in fighting the Maximals, and has in fact had some friendly encounters with them whenever Megatron turned his back to her just a second too long to allow her to sneak out from the Predacon ship. None of the Maximals has tried to hurt her, but Dinobot did warn Optimus Primal that one day she will just be another threat to them, but for now the group leaves her alone, or even going as far as to leading her back to the Predacon ship to avoid having a rampant Megatorn turning every rock up-side-down to find her.

Rubywing is unable to fly the same as Terrorsaur and Waspinator, but she's a skilled climber and glider. Once she has reached a high place she can spread her wings in both root- and alt-mode to soar trough the air for a long distance, using her tail to steer. She can flap her wings to gain a tiny bit of extra altitude.

• Electrokinesis
Rubywing has the ability to generate and discharge electricity from her body. She can discharge painful shocks, but they are not strong enough to really harm an adult Transformer.

• Tail blade
She's able to detach her tail and turn it into a blade (Similar to how Dinobot can use his tail as a weapon), however, she has no clue how to properly wield it.
Likes:
• Collect gemstones and fossils
• The colour yellow
• Sit on Megatron's shoulders
• Flowers
• Grooming her feathers
• Chase critters (or her fellow team mates)
• Hide in small spaces

Misc:
• She’s autistic.
• She likes to wrap herself up in her wings (as seen in the reference).
• She uses her wings as a second pair of hands when in root-mode.
• When resting she curls up into a feathery ball.
• She doesn't talk much, and mainly makes chirping sounds and other noises. Every now and then she repeats words or says short sentences.
