X3 uhhhh... i cant explain how i make the hair shiny... @_@ it'll take me some time to do so. as for the background... it's a clouds filter posterized... as for the rest of the process i dont know how to explain it. i'm sorry. tools? i did this in Photoshop... >_> so the tools i used... well, for the shadows i select em w/ the polygonal lasso tool then i feather it so it's soft. to make the lineart soft too, i used the smart blur in filter>blur>smart blur! ^_^ it's useful, really. X3 as for the rest.. cant think right now. < --is too shleepy +_+

Yay! okeys I'll try that the next time I color!! thankies very much!! ^^ how did ya make the background, though o.o;..like well..I mean.....uh....not those colors and designs..but how did you get it on the piccy?^^ or..the piccy on the background, rather?^^ some people tell me to like..copy and paste my piccy to another one..and use the magic wand ..o.O but that sometimes..looks like uber crap so yea^^'

oohhhh. okay. first of all, when u color, u use layers, right? if u dont, u need em. X3 always have the lineart layer on top on Multiply mode. then have your colors on a separate layer below the lines. see the background layer? ^^ do your background there so it goes under the lines, and under the colors. ^___^
