Mystery Dungeon taught me to never steal from a Kecleon.

I like how Cheshire is taunting Bonnie by hanging just one piece in front of her face XD

Okay, I'm really bad at critiques, so please bear with me. ;v;
First of all, I really like the cartoony expressions, especially the blue outline; it really makes the picture pop out.
One thing that seems really odd, though, is that Ambipom's left leg looks like it's attached on the tail, and the tail is attatched to the fluff on Ambipom's back. And then, the other ear is missing. XD At first I thought the other ear was covering it, but Kecleon's eye-spike-stuff are both showing (Unless they're supposed to be different sizes) so it would make sense that Ambipom's ear would be showing too.
As for Kecleon, it's the same problem with the legs, like Ambipom, but it's less noticeable. Her arm is also positioned weirdly.

Heheh I know. I wanted to make her arms like that so it would look more exaggerated and cartoony.

Critiquing this for you!
It's really adorable, I like the bright colours and expressions. The first issue I noticed is that you seem to put the body lines in front of the leg lines, where generally it should be the other way around (with the Ambipom, it kinda makes it look like the back leg is a tail XD). His muzzle looks a little on the flat side as well, and seems to go back into his face a bit too sharply on the underside. And lastly, while it looks really nice and cartoony for the most part, the ground sticks out a bit weirdly because it's the only area where a soft brush was used and I find my eyes drawn to there rather than the characters at times. Nice job though!

I see. Oh and Ambipom is a girl. xP
Yeah I learned my lesson by using soft brushes, I found it looked too...ugly so I use hard brushes from now on~

Greetings and salutations!
I have been notified that you would lke a critique on this piece, and since it has not quite recieved the attention it should have, I shall give it a go. Now bear with me
First things first, I adore the vibrant choice of colors which suits the whimsical nature of the illustration very well.
However, I can't help feel that that the lack of shading on the characters makes it looklacklustre which it should be when you have a very clearly defined lighting source in the picture. I understand that it may be for stylistic purposes, but something like a simple shading values system could do wonders for the picture. I can see that you've shaded the ground beneath them somewhat, so why stop there? It'll definitely make your characters look like they exist on the plane instead of merely being jammed there as a comical foreground.
Now we move on to anatomy, which happens to actually be something of my favorite subject. The style chosen is clearly cartoony, but I stick by my guns that it shouldn't be a reason to flaunt the basic rules:
- The Aipom's left leg (closest to the screen) should look like it's attached to his side, not his back. You got it right on on the Kechleon for most part. (The lines attaching the leg to the torso should slip in to the body, the body lines should not cut into it)
- The Aipom's right foot should be craned up at a slightly higher angle with the position of his foot to make it look more dynamic. (The sole is almost flat on the ground and catching someone in mid-run like this, that is almost never the case)
- The Kechleon's right arm is positioned higher than it should be (over her left arm which is closer to the screen and should by default look a bit larger than the right which is in the back). You can help by either making it smaller or positioning it lower/under the left arm slightly.
- Kechleon's running pose is actually a bit awkward with her legs as the right leg is arched too high up and give the impression of her stomping around instead of running after him. In this retrospect, Go back to the Aipom who has a more natural-looking running stance.
- Kechleon's face. Her bottom jaw specifically--you'll want to be careful of the mouth taking over the chin (which she is currently lacking) and make it a bit smaller.
I hope this helps somewhat! (Has never done a critique before OTL)

Oh it's okey~ 8D
"shaded the ground beneath them somewhat, so why stop there? It'll definitely make your characters look like they exist on the plane instead of merely being jammed there as a comical foreground. " That's exactly what I was doing. xD if I didn't put this there it would have had NO background. I did shade the ground and was going to remove it but it was too late when I realized it. xP So yeah the BG is just a "Prop"
Thanks for the critique ~ I did no shading to make it look more cartoony~ I'll keep this in mind next time I draw these two~
