Description Well that was different. I got a Wacom tablet a few weeks ago, but I haven't really had time to play with it. This is my first attempt at using it to draw ponies. Since it was meant to be learning how to draw and not magical new stuff I used a reference really heavily. The mane and tail are completely by me though. On that note, I can't free hand Twilight's tail well. But yeah, other than the ear, tail, and rear leg it is pretty good, especially considering I haven't really used the tablet for anything beyond some very simple gray-scale doodles.

Thanks! That is why I chose the reference that I did. Though the mane/tail curler things didn't really help so they were cut from my version.

Thanks It took about 4 hours, so longer than most of my vectors, but not too long. Okay, really long compared to the experienced people who can do 30min challenges.

Yeah, I had never done anything like this before. I think this was my 4th or 5th time using a tablet and first doing anything substantial. I probably spent half of that working on finding how to do everything and redrawing outlines of body parts. But still, I can't believe it took me 4 hours to do it anyway. It does not look like 4 hours of work.
