*PHEW* finally done.... Oo; And.... don't mind the hammer, it looks so bizarre and stuff... and I'm way too lazy to fix itWell, this is actually a gift for and , because their tutorial helped me do this pic... AND I THANK THEM EVER SO MUCH XD And, for another reason, they're so freakin' nice.... And deserve at LEAST a dozen gifts per day.... Honnestly
And, for those who wonder what I used for this pic, it's written below. And also, for photoshop users (6.0, 7.0 and other...) the pen tool is THE best thing...... litteraly OO Some of you might say: "But, I don't even know what to do with it!!" just practise and practise until you learn how to
Sketch: done by hand, 2 minutes
lineart: Photoshop CS, 3 hours
color: Photoshop CS, 2-3 hours

LOL. It has certainly brought me a good laugh, in any case. ;D I don't really mind if anyone butchers my pictures as long as they don't do it for profits. I'll report 'em nonetheless
Thanks so much Themie! And nice to see you again!!

Hi!
Oh wow! This picture came out BEAUTIFULLY! The coloring is wonderful! The only thing I can say is that I think Amy's hair needs more quills... and that the pose, the body twists so much, it would be painful for real.

Wow, thats amazing! I haveta say Im starting to warm to Amys new look. She got really kick some butt with that hammer!! And you say you used Photoshop? I soooo need to get it lol! Where did u get the tutuorial from, if you dont mind me asking!!
A background in SA style, like with all the lines and a title bar may look cool, but most SA style pics Ive seen have been done on a clear background, I think it brings out the dark lines that is used to draw SA characters. Its a major difference Ive noticed with the new SA style and the old, the old style was much paler, with finer lines.
Excellent pic!! *faves* Amy rules!!

Aieee! I can't believe you did this! First of all, I'd like to say I'm very happy that tutorial has worked out for so many people. I feel as though I should make an updated version, since that's no longer the method I use, but this turned out very well.
I do like the smoothness of the coloring and linework, and the fluidness of the pose is most eye-catching. I will steal Tom's word, "niggles" because I find it cute. The niggle that mie sees lies only in the body-to-arm transition. Amy's body is very much like Sonic's in that the arms have peach fur and the main body color remains dominant down through the torso. If you go by Sonic X, Amy lacks Sonic's trademarked belly fur, but I usually keep it in, because I feel it gives more balance to the character design.
Aaaaanyway, I think I've rambled on long enough now. Thank you so much for doing this, and again, I'm really glad you liked the tutorial. Awesome job with the pen tool, by the way.

Ooooh, an updated version of your tutorial would be just oh so delightful!! ^-^
And about the body color, ummm.... i don't know why, i guess i always colored it that way XD but i checked on some official art, and you were right, lol. But, people learn as they go on, so I don't think i'll edit this pic and i can't really watch Sonic X anymore because i have to work every saturday mornings... darn work, always rouining the fun... (hope i spelt that right)
i don't find your comment rambling, i actually learned something from reading it, so it's gooooood ^^ i feel very very VERY happy that you and chaokiller took some time to examine my picy. i feel truly honored! *bows*

That looks amazing! Brilliant job! Indeed, Mie and CK deserve alot of credit They both have very good natures, and are very respectable artists. Awesome that their tutorials helped you to make such an awesome picture.
The pose is excellent. Very unique, and I rarely see Amy drawn with her hammer now. Awesome angle, and brilliant smooth job with the SA-style color and shading. The folds on the front of her left boot (the foot that's forward) look slightly off, but I could be wrong.
Brilliant stuff ^^

That is very impressive Sonic Adventure style coloration right there. The highlights are not at all edgy, or jagged like in most attempts. The pose is also very dynamic and fluent, while the proportions are mastered quite well. Awesome work!
