Started this yesterday as a portfolio break (and for con stuff)Now listen to my stupid story as to why it's half finished D:
I sent this to a site for critiquing, so I cropped the psd file to make a thumbnail. I was in a hurry, so I left Photoshop open without touching the original psd file (which was still cropped). I came back home, Photoshop was still open. I was about to start coloring this again, but when I went to click undo, it wouldn't undo. It would not undo. D8...... I closed Photoshop, hoping for that "You've made changes, do you want to save?" window to pop up so that I would click no. It did not appear.
WHAT.
... OTL...
In case people start wondering, this image's a wip image. It's the biggest I got ;;
I guess I'll redo another drawing or something, when I feel like I can trust Photoshop once more.

i know what u mean about photoshop being stupid mine decided one time that it wasnt going to maximize and so i had to like restart the computer and restart my project cause it wanted to be intolerant.

This is so cute even though it isn't finished!! Although I kind of DO like it unfinished as awkward as it sounds~! I love their facial expressions though! It's hilarious!!! Yeah, I like the unfinished-ness as well... O_O To tell the truth, I had no idea how I was going to render it (I wanted a realistic approach, and yet that might have disrupted the 'feeling' of the pic...)

I always make sure to leave the 'refining' process as the last thing to do for a picture. That way, I can concentrate on the feel, color layout and interaction beforehand (and not risk having to destroy any details if something looks odd in the middle of refining). It makes the process much easier in the long run...!

And you're right, it's a good thing that you can stop at any stage of the process and it'll look good. I'm trying to make things like this too... but I'm so messy.
