FINALLY.

IT'S DONE.

NOW I CAN WORK ON SOMETHING ELSE.

...Anyways. This is the reason I haven't been posting pretty much anything for the past several weeks. It's been painful as hell, and I've (rightfully?) whined about it the whole way through, but I actually got it done. Which just makes me proud for actually completing something like this.

...Er, anyways. My dream is to one day become an author, but just trying to draw myself writing was too boring. So I combined that with...I guess you could call it a stupid little dream: to have the characters I write about come to life. I decided to animate it because one, I wanted to learn (*coughselfteachmyselfcough*) some more about making animated GIFs, and two, it's the only thing I'm decent at these days that gets attention.

This is only my second emote/pixellated animation (after ), but I guess I like how it came out. I absolutely LOVE the beginnings of the animation, up until Linda (the water dragon) came out. After that...it just went down. My Kudan's wings didn't come out how I wanted them to, and Arashi in B.L.O.B. form coming out of the book just doesn't feel right. I was also going to go back and give my Kudan some shading, but I'm too lazy and I really don't want to spend anymore time on this. I am so done.

Something went wrong with the sunburst in that there's white spots on it during the turn...and there's the white backgrounds during the fade times...I couldn't figure out how to fix it, I'm sorry. It looks absolutely fine on the Photoshop file...T.T ...tomorrow. I'll do something about it tomorrow.

EDIT (12/05/09): Giving it a background instead of just transparency was the only way I could think to fix it...if you have another suggestion, please let me know.
