I know my title is so original... But it is relevant, because this is my application for 's Adoptable #1.

NOTE: He's not actually a pegasus. I just drew him that way to symbolise his optimistic and free personality.

To be honest I'm not totally happy with this picture, but neither am I disappointed. I'm neutral, there are things I like and things I dislike. Like I'm happy with the lineart, I'm ECSTATIC about my wings actually , and I'm happy with the mane and tail. But his colouring is kind of scetchy... and I couldn't figure out how to fix it without ruining the rest of the picture. I'm happy with the colours I used, but I wish I had been able to make the design look as natural as *SheWolff did, mine looks a little too solid and painted. I'll work on that though if I get him I'm okay with my cloud down the bottom and on the left, the one on the right not so much though. The other thing I'm really sorry about is I failed at his dapples... so I left them out. Again, I'll work on that if I get him

Age: 17 (in horse years)
Height: 16 hands
Coat: Silver Dapple Pinto
Build: Selle Francais

Orientation: Gay

Personality: Zanthos is very proud and open about himself, he isn't afraid of being himself around others whether he sees them every day or hardly knows them. He's very playful towards everyone, gentlemanly towards those he likes and teasing towards those who don't like him. He tries his hardest to see the best in everyone, because of this he doesn't "dislike" anyone. Many would call him optimistic for trying to bring out sides of people he only seems to be able to see.

Background: Zanthos always more of an interest in stallions than he did in the mares. He made excellent friends with the mares and his gentlemanly attitude and playfulness earned him his fair share of attention, but he still stuck after the stallions. While this made some uncomfortable he never saw anything wrong with it and never once tried to hide his sexuality.

All the comments made about him by the other stallions all seemed to just roll off his back and he persevered to treat them equally even when they didn't treat him equally. Most of the stallions he fancied didn't accept his "flaw" and ignored his affections even while some would remain friendly towards him.

When one stallion arrives into the heard and stands out among all others to Zanthos, everyone knows how the story is going to end already. While the stallion appears to accept Zantho's friendship he, like all the others, won't accept the affection. He's reserved and cold and very facetious and distrusting of others. Almost the exact opposite of Zanthos, so no one really sees why Zanthos continues to hold onto his feelings. Zanthos is also determined that there is a softer stallion underneath his hard shell, and does all he can to bring that out no matter how much the stallion may protest. As their friendship grows Zanthos falls deeper, but the other stallion seems to do all that is in his power to keep those affections at distance.

The End

If I do get Zanthos I'll create the other stallion that goes into the story. I have an image in my head, but I won't put it down until I find out whether I get Zanthos or not
