LOOK AT MY SON-AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA-
the court jester for the previous King, Jevil lived a relatively normal life with his good friend Seam. eventually, however, he started to get the sense that his world was a game and that he was the higher power controlling it.
since he was the higher power, he believed he deserved the highest place in the society, the role as King.
his first attempt at overthrowing the King was unsuccessful, with his old friend Seam being the one to contain him in his cell far below the castle.
soon enough, Seam later released Jevil due to wanting to see his old friend. while captive, Jevil became more and more determined to be the ruler of not only the game, but of the multiverse surrounding it, this chaotic thought process led his personality to change rapidly, switching personality's in seconds and becoming a murderous sociopath if he doesn't get his way.
once free he successfully overthrew the king and usurped the throne. banishing the King's son, Lancer, and making a deal with his old friend after he had attempted to re-contain Jevil.

From what I've seen with like every AU for anything ever, the AU designs for different characters don't seem to really add much to each character?? Like, for example, with Underfell (which is undeniably my favorite despite my saying of this) they all just follow the classi cblack/red/yellow color palette, and there's not many differences between them- or like whatever that space one was.., Outertale I think? That's a bunch of blue, gold, and star patterns on everyone. Or like for things where the characters aren't human, namely FNaF that I'm thinking of for this one, they all just looks the same but with their own respective colors w/ their human AU; Idk if that's just me or not though lmao.
But anyways, looking at the AU designs you've got so far for Chainedrune, they're all their own unique things, and that's like really super cool to see! Idk, like, you not only changed the design, but you added to them in a way that honestly improves the charactes and makes them super unique compared to how a lot of other AU's designing of characters seems to go! Idk, it's like really early in the morning for me rn since for some reason I've got a snow day from school today, so I can't quite remember the probable four paragraph essay I was probably going to write here, but that's pretty much what it would have been! o:
