Description
Here is a screen shot of the test animation. She was a B!@$! to rig, so much so that I couldn't use envelopes I had to use vertex weights because of the large curves and tight spaces. Butt in the end, I got her ass walkin. The actual animation video is on Youtube edited 5 camera angle shots and put to music! www.youtube.com/watch?v=6OsFxX…And yesh some of those typos are on purpose XD
** To respect the wishes of the artist who originally designed Chelsea Holmes, SatsumaLord . I can't put the file up for download. **

I love it too. I hope someday you will do this with my girls.

All need is some reference data like front and profile shots(almost like schematics), in default model pose (everything drawn strait out, arms, legs, tail...), some time, and maybe I'll be able to come up with something. NO PROMISES.

I really like how you did Chelsea's walk cycle, and that's especially true with the way her tail swishes back and forth as she moves.
The only way I can think of to improve it would be to first, slow down the walk cycle a bit. It kinda looks like she's power walking, and I don't think that fits her very well. Another thing would be to change the angle of her hands. Instead of having her hands pointing downwards to the ground, try having them parellel to the ground instead. Kinda like what you would see here: ( [link] ). Did you notice how her left hand is parallel to the ground and almost forms a right angle with her arm? That's kinda what I'm talking about.
Overall though, you did a really good job and I look forward to more.

Is it hard to do 3D? I've been wanting to try it with my characters but I don't know how

It takes practice, time, and effort. The only way to find out is to try it yourself. There are tons of helpful tutorials on the internet though. I learned how to box model a character from tuts on youtube.

I used a variety of programs on this, 1st Blender witch I used for modeling her, then Anim8or for texture mapping since I was used to how that program works for texture mapping, then 3Ds Max 2009 for the model rig and animation.

3Ds Max 2009 (Not Free) [link]

Its up to you. I took on Chelsea because I thought to myself, maybe I can do it! I ran into some tough spots, but I didn't give up.
