the wood is fuckin brilliant here. i don't use obsinities usually in my comments, but i said it out loud when i saw this, so i thought you should read it. the way you've laid the paint over this makes such an illusion of textures, where it doesn't seem like 1 flat piece of wood, but rather carefully chosen, individual textures laid over specific parts digitally for illusion. the hills really feel like grass is moving on them, reflecting a sunset. and the character design is great for your lucid thing. all of them feel very seperate, like they should be part of different pieces, but the color choices and your style bring them into this dream. badass.

This is great stuff, as always. Your use of acrylic paint is amazing I tell ya. I love the concept of this piece (the fairy-type girl is priceless). The wooden panel that you drew this on also gives it a really cool texture ^^ Adds a lot more to the picture. I'd love to see you try to experiment with different styles though (I'm not trying to tell you to change or anything, I'm just curious to see what it would look like). But yeah, keep up the great work!

thanks for the great comments...ive been trying to put together a more commercial portfolio together to get some work...but ive grown tired of it and im going to start going back to more fine artish pieces...i love exploring and playing around with different stuff..i hope to still be doing it when im 90.

you might want to check out castaneda's writings on the dreamworld and ways in which to manipulate it. very interesting. highly rec. "the art of dreaming" basically a manual to it...and it works!

if not, i would have a lovely painting to look at everyday. this is really really wonderful, and i love it in so many ways. please continue this line of more abstract work. it is some of the best and most creative i have ever seen!
