Boy, am I going to kick myself when I have to get up at 10am to go to work but it was well worth it. I was worried that this was going to come out looking like crap but I'm actually extremely happy with how this came out. Favorite thing I've ever drawn to date, I think.Anyway this is based off of an AU idea I have for Gurren Lagann that follows Garlock (or prolouge!Simon) and how he eventually leads the universe into the Spiral Nemesis. Think of it as Gurren Lagann meets End of Evangelion or something like that?? I'll never get around to doing anything with the idea, so this is probably all that will come of it yeahhh.
All that blood was fun to color and mess around with.

Cool idea, but inappropriate. Simon uses a drill, not a sword! Kamina used the sword, but Simon never so much as drew it!
Simon's weapon was a drill to the very end, moving forward to the future!

I know, but this is based off an alternate universe setting where Simon isn't moving towards the future but instead leading the future into despair.

In this sense, I can't unsee the antispiral bodies as dead kyubeys an the way they just kinda pop up again after death.
