Description
Fate seems to have a rather cruel sense of irony where shapeshifters are concerned.Humans in a singular sense are not dangerous. A shapeshifter can dispose of them easily.
However, like locusts, they swarm and have spread themselves to every corner of the earth. Killing everything they cannot tame or put to good use. They are scared of the unfamiliar.
Most shapeshifters (They were once abundant, being spirits living on earth long before it was ruined) foresaw this, and abandoned this world for another, higher plane of existence.
But two remained, unaware of the chaos around them. Asleep for eternities, they woke up to discover they had been abandoned. So they were forced to adapt and live amongst their greatest enemies.
Waiting to bring about their destruction.

hello, i have been watching you for like a week and this is the first time (so far) that you write an actual story line for your drawings, and i really like it...im not familiar with shapeshifters, bu ti like the way you say that they were abandonned....and she was burried, rather cruelly...
the thombstone adds a nice touch to the character. oh and Nice background also!

Yeah.. Shapeshifters (Well, my shapeshifters anyway),are basically spirits with powers beyond any comprehension.. They're able to change their DNA sequences totally and take the form of anything they so desire (Thet's their main ability, though they have many more).. They're immortal, which is a gift and a curse combined.. And the only two (Mellie being one of them) that remain on earth are forced to remain there until its destruction. FUN STUFF! ;D

are you doing it just for fun, or are thinking on making a book or sumting?
i also draw often the same characters and im making a story, sometimes its just necessary to explain it for others to understand! or to get them hooked.
anyways, i really love your stuff, its so dark and...purple! and romantic. keep it up, your really good!
