I spent a good week and a bit working on this, then took a few days off and then added a few more bits to make it look smoother.
This is Soto and his twin brother Belka (Scotts OC) somewhere in or near half-peak , near glacier pass.
I didn't add snow on them because I didn't want to obstruct the characters at all , and the snow is still light hence why I didn't add any onto the ground either.

I love drawing big fat pawsies I dunno why xD it just feels like it makes the character look better balanced.I tried to stick the the ice age styke ,but I changed a few things like the nose because I found it confusing xD
One day I'll finish out collab , I swear ;_; I have the BG done, but I want to draw star in the same detail as your OC, and I havent done proper fur in some time x3x

hahaha Big paws are great XD I always want to squeeze them! and for big, bulky characters like wolves or these sabers, yeah, big paws work to balance them out :3

awesome. the cliff ledge thing that they're standing/laying on looks great and so does that glacier/mountain in the background or maybe its another cliff idk. I like the snow too, anyway this looks great ^^

The Glacier is from the orignal ice age movie, the cliff they are on would be half-peak.I ended up watching ice age around 5 times so I could try and get everything right ^^ The snow is simple motion and gauusian blur ^^ It's very easy to do and makes quite the impact

I thought it was a glacier xD ah, kinda figured, but geez 5 times? that's crazy...love that movie though lol but I would imagine it would get old after watching it that many times in such a short span. ah, nice it does have a nice effect...I will have to try it sometime...

Glacier pass is two glaciers, in the movie they are trying to catch up to the humans before the two collide and close them off ^^
Needless to say the best inspiration was from the movie itself, I tried to keep the body style too , I was obsessed with it,still kind of am.I'm not too fond of the second or third but I'm eagerly waiting continental drift ^^ and scratte will be in it again xD

oh I see, yea I noticed that they did look like the sabers from the movie, it's an interesting style. I like all of the movies, but of course the first one is my fav ^^ can't wait to see continental drift either. yay scratte xD
