Amaelia Avalondel, the Knight of Eight.Do you think I love this show too much? ...no, no, that's impossible, no one can love Code Geass too much. <3
I love this girl, I really do. She's very very very special and important to me. In fact, of all my show-based ocs, she's probably my favorite. I absolutely adore her~ She really does make me a happy Saku. [But I do have to ask, why is her original concept sheet favorited more than the screencap of her? ...oh, well, beggers can't be choosers. c:]
About episode 12 of Code Geass R2, Amaelia trades her Geass power for immortality and thus ends the once-eternal life of her code-bearer, R.R. At the time, it was a good decision, because it was her request to always be able to protect Nunnally-hime and Suzaku-kun, because they were the most important people to her. But as time passes, about episode 17, after slaughtering so many people when trying to put down a revolt in Africa, she begins to question whether taking on R.R.'s code was really a smart idea. And then she tries to kill herself, just to see what would happen, but Suzaku catches her in the act, and she gets angry with him for trying to stop her, to save her. She explains the entire situation to him, that her Geass has changed and now while he'll age and soon whither away, she never will. ...and then she makes the statement from the screencap, and Suzaku starts babbling incoherently about how her intentions were pure and that no matter what happened, he would never leave her, and that he would try to find some way to stay by her side forever, and she just laughs at his naivety and tells him that he can't live forever, that Euphemia's still waiting for him and that after he's done serving Nunnally, he has to go back to his true princess. It's heartwrenching, ne? :c I cried when Euphie died, and as much as I'd love for Suzaku to end up with Gino or Lelouch, I think the real true pairing for him was with Euphemia. [But he doesn't get to end up with anyone, because SUNRISE SUCKS AND DOESN'T LET ANYONE'S FAVORITE CHARACTERS HAVE A HAPPY ENDING WTF SERIOUSLY WHY]
...yes, I get it, I suck with perspectives. They make me cringe. I'm not exactly sure what Amaelia's doing...kinda looking up and back, maybe? -beats self with stick- ...suuure. But I do like her hair shading, it looks a little CG-esque. And I still firmly maintain that I SUCK at drawing Code Geass eyes. -cringes- They're so light and feathery, and mine aren't. -hisses- And for the record, Amaelia does have to earrings in each ear, and the only reason I chose indigo for them in this picture is because I wanted to represent her cape color somehow, and that manifested into...indigo...earrings.... -EPIC FAIL PLZ-

Stop saying you suck at Code Geass eyes!! I think these eyes are really pretty! I like this picture a lot; Amaelia's really pretty! And yes, I agree, Suzaku is so naive (but that's partly why I adore the guy ^.^)
I didn't cry much when Euphie died. I don't like her much, even though Nike absolutely adores her even though she's in love with Suzaku herself (I'm a sucker for conflict; I love putting my characters through drama XD) Instead, I cried like a baby when Shirley died (she was my favourite female character)
...I like her indigo earrings!

To start with, I personally didn't like Euphemia that much [even though she and Amaelia were sorta friends, since they both grew up in the Imperial Villa when they were younger and Lelouch and Nunnally were still in Britannia] because I--in the beginning--shipped Amae with Suzaku. But after I drifted away from that pairing and paired Amae with Nunnally [which, incidently, works better, lol], she grew on me. The same with Shirley: I didn't like her when I first watched the shows through [because she seemed a little goody-goody to me], but when I finished the seasons and really though about it, I seriously like her. And Amae can't dislike her because Shirley's always been such a sweetie to Nunnally.... xD;; [And when I rewatched the episode when she died, I was like "SHIRLEY, NOOOOO! -sobsob-"]
And thank youuu! ffff another person who likes indigo
