Oh, it's not too hard, just a quick throwtogether. Firstly I just brushed on a base cloud layer to give it shape, erased parts to give it depth, and used the burn/dodge tool to change the color. Made a second layer to go over the red base (the yellow stuff), and did basically the same thing. Made a lens flare layer for the flares inside the nebula, changed the blending layer and all that, and added a hard light layer of clouds with the colors offset a lil bit to give a realistic nebula effect hope that helps!

i have to learn the logical aspect of photoshop hehe. i know most of the techniques but i cant visualise a way to use them into something realistic.
