amazing work, the double shots makes a great effect, and you managed to make a picture with just the blood coloured look original, thats a hard thing to do

I really love the drawing the drain the whole concept but i cant help but think it's being somewhat violent for violent sake, never the less a great peice of art and perhaps a tribute to the good old murder mystery thriller type movie posters that have become a rarity now?

Thanks for the comment... in many was it is a tribute/homage to the murder mysteries of the old days... probably a bit more graphic than usually scene... but the stock i went with is what conveyed that. Thanks for the comment and the fav

While it is a gorgeous vector, I don't believe the blood at all. It could be from the original picture, but the blood looks too deliberately placed, and less like it actually flowed from her wounds. I don't think the blood would have made it to the inner rings of the drain cover like that without some help, and all the excess spattering around the draining blood trail seems excessively fake. The blood on her body looks fairly good, as far as placement and flow pattern. For an angular simple vector, you sure have a hella huge amount of hits.

I love the fact that you analyzed this deeply, and truly appreciate it. However, I'd like to point out that this was done from not-so realistic perspective, more of a generalization of visual concept. (giving you an idea of what you would see in this girls bathroom). The blood, over dramatic, over-the-top, and was exactly what i was going for... i just pictured the drain a bit lower than the rest of the floor, which is how most drains are.
As far as the angular simple vector... at first it started out quick, but just as quick it became tedious because lines didn't look right, and shadows looked off. It was time consuming, but simplicity was the overall goal of this, which should seem evident in the lack of numerous colors
P.S. - I really appreciate the time you took to pick this apart.

Not a problem, alot of times people get comments like "wow awesome" and never really any constructive criticism. I thought maybe I'd give it a shot. I couldn't do better, I have no experience making vectors of my own, but I've seen what can be done. Of course, post-deconstruction, the image really does grab your attention, as gobs of blood tends to do.

Blood brilliant. -D Using only black and white....but adding dark crimson to highlight the blood. Very nicely done. The proportions on the girl/lady/thing are right on, as far as I'm thinking. Anything that has sufficient amounts of blood in it....I'm very attracted to.

9mm-stock is one of my fucking idols on DA.com, so the fact that you used her stock to do this, makes me have to pay homage to you. This is a fantastic piece, let it be known. You're are a fucking genius along with 9mm. LOVE IT. <3
