Tsubasa Chronicles is created by CLAMP (a group of female manga artists) who like to mix up their "manga universes" by having cameos of characters from their different projects together.
Tsubasa Cronicles has a lot of characters from their previous works in there. Princess Sakura (from the "Clow Kingdom" refs, the Clow from CCS) and Syaoran are from Cardcaptor Sakura, and Clow Reed, Chii is from Chobits as well as Sumomo. The Dimensional Witch Yuko and her staff are from xxxHolic, you get the idea x___x
