All i'm saying is that 1-ups have brought back to the dead. But if it was in the real world, it could have a different effect, like healing, restoring stamina, or a it can be used to revive somone badly wounded but not dead.

maybe not sure how I would work a 1-up if i had one as far as I know they absorbe into you soon as you touch it so i dont knwo how you would carry one with you. that said there are many things i can think of
