Real answer: In line with the previous honedge headcanon, Sina and Dexio are helping study the energy phenomenon in the cloths, and wearing/spending time with them is part of "VeryImportantResearch.jpg". Their respective scarves do not affect them much since they've had time to acclimate to each other (though if they switched, there would be some issues with energy draining. Luckily, the scarves are hard to mix up xD)
