rumour has it their making a sequel to the original predator film ^_^

aye. I just love the way they don't really say anything but you always know what's going on
and I don't know about the hanging out...... one thing I never really got was in the films why do people who claim to know all about the predator their first instinct is to point a gun in their face
indeed only one sequels done the origonal justice (predators had some cool gadgets and things to enhance the species but as a film..... eh)
I'm hoping that arnold gets a camero in it at some point and possibly find out what happened to royce and issable

Yeah, my favorite predator was the one in aliens vs predator. It was the one who teamed up with that last survivor. And they fought the giant alien queen.
He was my fav predator cuz in a sense, he seemed like a nice guy that you could get along with if you got to know him.
But of course...he got killed. My fav characters always get killedDX And i know, I laugh at those silly people. It's already obvious that the predators have a code of honor and really only attack or defend against enemies who are a threat. But for some reason they think their guns are a match for the predator's advanced weaponry. XD Β Yeah, i wasn't too happy with the Predators movie. It was ok, but it seemed way too dark and you really didn't see the predators too much or anything. Β I wasn't exactly thrilled with it. Good concept, but the overall movie wasn't the best. Β That would be cool to have Arnold in the sequel. I don't remember too much about Royse and issable though.

I wasn't a big fan of AVP I still think predator is the best predator film but I really loved the dessign of the elder at the end and the whole mysterious persona about him
Predators was a mixed bag, had some cool ideas and scenes (I just love the tribute t Schwarzenegger at the end when royce is all mudded up with the fire and that axe kill... beuatiful ^_^ ). I felt the hunter with the 'dogs' was a good idea but excecuted terribly if there was a clearer bond between the pred and his pets, them acting as blood hounds (I can see it now the 'dogs' running through the jungle chasing some straggler while the predators leaping through the trees behind, dogs maul Β victim guys able to fight a few off but then the predator leaps down and cuts the guys head off) or at least comming to his aid when the pred is brought down

I liked AVP for the predators themselves. Especially the one known as scar. That and the elders were pretty kick ass. But i'll definitely agree that the original Predator movie was top notch.
As for the Predators movie. I don't remember much about it, other than it was hard to see the predators cuz it was always dark. That and the predator hounds ,while they were a cool concept. They just seemed , I don't know. Random in a way. I found myself wondering why Predators needed 'dogs' in the first place. Unless they were trying to train the dogs for some sort of purpose we don't know about?
I just found it odd that these highly trained and advanced predators needed to use giant monster dogs to hunt something as weak as humans. Grant it the people were armed and trained killers in their own sense, but still.Β

Humans arnt weak
The jungle predator deemed them worthy to hunt and when he was slain by Dutch predator 2 guy was so impressed he traveled to earth to hunt us and in predators they were so impressed they shipped us off world
Asi said I think they were meant to be like hunting dogs like when people used dogs to hunt foxes because while they are skilled hunters this was a big game reserve so to pinpoint their aprox location they needed a scent
But what probably happened was some guy came up with the concept then another wrote the script and didnt get their significance so just wrote them as 'monster#5'

Well I didn't mean weak as completely defenseless. But more so the fact that the predators are using monster Β dogs.Like hunting dogs ,sure. But to me it just seemed odd. I mean grant it it was a big area, and the humans were skilled and armed. But still, the predators relying on dogs to track them down seemed abit out of character a bit. Usually predators hunt by themselves or in a group. But they do it themselves . Using dogs just seemed like cheating cuz of course the dogs are going to track the humans down no problem. I don't know. Maybe it's just me, but it seems to make things a little too easy. And doesn't offer up as big of a challenge as it would if the preds did it themselves or in a hunting group .
