Finished this one about a month ago, been looking for a title since then but finally decided to post this painting even though I can't find a stupid title to it, in French or in English ... I think I'm out of words. I find that the titles are the most difficult part of a painting!!!!! Aaarrkkk hate titles. Sorry I needed to vent this.Oil on canvas. 24" x 18"

may I suggest a title? "A thought acquires form, and so the solar system is born." Bit long I know. Maybe "Thought(s) acquire form."
Or along a similar line of thought: "Solar system, rough draft #5." For this title I thought of rough draft because the divine being appear to still be PLAYing with the idea... mask(s) at the waterline and earth/saturn proportions not being accurate. So its not the final solar system. The 5 selected only because of the number of beings in the picture.
"divine play" ???
Maybe someone else has an idea...

Thank You! I will play with these ideas, I like the rough draft one to. And yes it is like they are playing with the universe, with the solar system, trying things out LOL! Do the beings have names? Is the orb near earth Venus or the moon? My first thought was the moon but because its the same size as earth I decided (correctly or not) that it was Venus.
I'm holding off on posting my best stuff until I am comfortable here. I don't want to inadvertantly give away something I am hoping to sell

Sorry I'm so late in answering but better late than never. The orb near earth is the moon. It has an important place in my life, so it gets to be big! I almost have the moon in all my paintings. I went from earth to farther from the sun in the planets, they are not all there.
