Though I am not a big fan of Harry Potter films - because I want to keep my own version of the images from the book - I really enjoy Emma Watson's Hermione

well, if you are drawing bright hair, you set accent where the shadows are and if the hair is dark, you leave out the highlights.
after that you just use the kneading rubber to show some loose, highlighted hair.
and that's it! actually hair is the part i like most in the portraits. it's so fun to draw it dynamically
