I'm surprised I actually finished most of this one loli love it, when i drew this it was one of those moments where you just draw it and no erasing *not true* well i did have to erase his hand and whatnot but still..i drew his face without having to erase O: thats a first
and his gun!! I used the picture out of the manga as a reference where Tres and Esther get attacked by Radu in the 3rd volume EVERYONE at school told me he looks like he's about to flip someone off! well he actually does when he pushes up his glasses but he's not doing it on purpose! or is he? lol jkjk but yeah.
XD some dude today said it was sexy.....wtf? i hope he meant the actual picture not Abel lol i could understand a girl saying that but a guy -__- tsk tsk

I think I remember this scene in the 2nd or 3rd volume of the manga. Did you draw it from scratch? It looks great even if not completly identical to the manga.

I did not trace but I did look at the manga. I drew a couple pictures from the manga so I could be able to draw them without looking at a reference. It was mostly Abel

Omg! This pic is freakin' awesome! I love your shading though yeah it does look like he is about to flips someone off. Its cause of the way his previous 2 fingers lead up to the 3rd. But it is a funny thought...Abel flipping someone off.
And yeah I noticed that too...why does Abel always push up his glass with his middle finger. I thought the middle finger in Japan was the same as here in America. Though that now makes me want to look back at the context of everytime he pushed up his glasses and see if it was when someone was being a jerk and he was flipping them off under the table but hid it by making it look like he was innocently pushing up his glasses. But that seems very un-Abel to me...he normally tries so hard to be polite and respectful...but I guess thats why it would make it that much funnier and sweeter if he is flipping ppl off innocently but not really... At least I think so anyway. LOL

I've heard that the middle finger doesn't represent anything in Japan but you might be right I don't know what goes on over there. xD I've always said that the artist did that for the Americans but we just don't realize it...

Well I dont know if it was originally in Japan but I know they know what it means because I think I've seen pics and anime that have had characters flipping ppl off intentionally. You I think you are right, maybe it doesnt mean anything to them personally but it does for us so they put in there for us and also for them to seem more...in trend with us?

O that happened to me the other day, Tuesday in fact lol I had a bunch of artwork in my lap in my stepdads truck and I spewed Dr.Pepper ALL over the place but I managed to get rid of it

Abel is so funny and goofy, he acts pathetic sometimes but he turns into this crusnik which is a vampire that sucks the blood of vampires.
