Yeah, Sylvanas has been working towards her own ends from the start. Hell, on the character creation screen for undead, it even clearly says that their alignment with the horde is simply an alliance of convenience. As soon as it stops being beneficial to them, they'll turn on everyone.
I read that too, haha. I never got into Starcraft, but that doesn't surprise me - Blizz will reuse anything they can.

Yeah, it can get very monotonous before reaching level cap, but they've done a lot to make the quests more interactive and engaging. Once you get in deep enough, it's hard to crawl away!
