That's some decent quality feels in this image, I says. Makes me wonder if maybe Gaster decided to make everyone forget about him so that they wouldn't have to live knowing what he had done (whatever it was).Β
Really nice work on the details surrounding the picture, especially the textures. (the paperclip looks hyper-realistic... Yes, of all the things, the paperclip, I had to bring it up, I am sorry.) Have to admit, the image looks really good for paint tool SAI, shows how much this software can do.Β

What a nice and yet sad picture ;~; hnn, you're such a good artist, you always nail the lighting and shading. I love the sort of dark-looking colors. The mood in this is great.
And... it's not Dadster? Then I'm definitely curious to see what it is! c: I have to admit I'm not 100% on board with the 'Dadster' theory. I don't necessarily mind it, it's just not my preferred headcanon... so I'm very interested to see what you have planned. o3o

Weirdly, when I read the text bubbles, the last comes across as kind of angry instead of sad??Β I think it's the spiky look along with the larger, bolder lettering.Β I know the bubble is more of a splat than spiky.Β So, I dunno why my brain interprets that way, as nobody else seems to be.Β Sorry, I'm so weird

It is a broster thing, directly related to the larger project that's still in development and probably will be for a long time. I feel a bit guilty because I think the way I phrased my description made it sound like the nature of their relationship is some kind of mystery to be revealed, but it's actually not. Honestly the scenario could work as a dadster thing too, but it might be more poignant this way? I'm rambling, haha. Anyway, the point of the thing I'm working on is to add a bit more context and depth to Gaster's relationship with Sans and Papyrus, as a bit of a teaser I guess, for lack of a better term at 6am on no sleep.
And I totally agree that the speech bubble splatter gave off the wrong feel-- I changed it and it looks much better. Thanks for the advice~Β

While Dadster is my personal favorite of the headcanons, I also kind of feels it's... easy?Β It's really very easy to spin a story out of a missing father or a workaholic single parent or somesuch thing.Β I think a missing elder brother puts a different angle on the whole thing, even if at some point he acted as guardian to his younger brothers.Β We sort of expect a parent to give everything to raise up their children and take care of them.Β It's not something a sibling should have to do, but I get that feeling from the broster thing.Β Like, part of his drive was to provide for them, but there's also a feeling of his ambition being fettered because he just can't fly free without concern for them.Β Or, he could, but he'd get tarred as being uncaring for leaving them behind.Β It could be incredibly poignant.
I felt kinda bad even pointing it out, because I seemed to be the only one who saw it that way XD

I just know the whole "don't forget" thing has been done to death, and I wasn't sure that this was really bringing anything unique to the table, but ehhh I think the thing I'm making is a solid enough concept, and should add a bit more depth and context to the relationship between the 3 of them.

True a lot of people have done the whole "don't forget" image, but given its one of the few canonical references we have for Gaster I think thats to be expected
