my only excuse is that I'd read a couple fanfics before drawing this and since my love for Gaster has lowered my standards to the point that I'll basically read anything that even just mentions him, I stumbled into a couple set in the UF universe and ugghhh they were actually not too bad? and his personality was just hhhhhh pretty fuckin hot ngl <33

Leather coat is the last thing you want in a lab, it gets stained easily and is happy to react with anything that falls on it. However, all of this gets overridden by the rule of cool, so it's OK, lol.

In my head, I was imagining that he ripped the soul straight outta some poor human, and ripped a bunch of other stuff out in the process, partially with his teeth. But, I guess it does look more like he's been sucking some fresh soul juice, haha. That's actually way funnier, and a more interesting idea tbh. may have to use this somehow, hmmmm~
