Description
After a month-long hard work, I am proud to present my first handmade model to fitting HO scale/OO gauge environment. He's big, he's grey, he's Big Mickey from Tugs AND Thomas And Friends!
To building this model, measurements have first been made, especially on the dimensions of Bachmann's Cranky model to hint that Big Mickey is bigger than him. Bonus features include removable compartments on the winch mechanism should the "chain" ever get damaged and needs repair, as well as removable base should the close-up shots be made when filming, just like the TV series. Currently labeled as Mark 01 in case there be a possibility that I might apply additional interchangeable parts, such as a loudhailer or even a face to imitating the respective TV shows.
Materials: Thin yet hard cardboard, shoelaces, acrylic paint lid, acrylic paint, acrylic felt, paint marker, chopsticks, metal ring-screws, EVA foam, pin needles, thin yet durable plastic board, hot glue and gloss varnish
