Full layout of my newly completed Takanuva (Bionicle) cosplay that I'll be using when NYCC 2013 comes! Underneath, will be wearing white karate gi (uniform) and yellow karate belt (follows well with gold). So excited!! XDRelated content

Dang, that's awesome.
From one Bionicle cosplayer to another, a question: What materials did you use to make this? I'm working on a Vakama Hordika cosplay for next year, and am trying to come up with a good material to use for it.

Materials I used to making this cosplay are:
- Styrofoam-based cardboard (the edges are styrofoam)
- Strong, but lightweight rope (similar strength just like shoelaces, but found at hardware stores)
- Acrylic paint
- Hot gluegun

Oh that's beautiful!! Do you plan on putting up pictures of yourself in full costume? I love the mask; so much detail! All of it, the shaping, the color, it looks really good. One excellent set of Takanuva armor!!

Highly appreciative of your strong like in this cosplay work of mine. And yes, will post up photos of myself in full costume for sure soon when next Friday~Sunday comes (New York Comic Con 2013, that's why!
