So... let's make it snow again on the first day of spring! Title is literally becoming the mantra here, when we reach 30℉ it's flip flop time. We'll be okay though, we don't see the sun up here until July and it vanishes in September. We're used to it. I ask myself why I live here daily.Still working on the bodice and am going to use different materials but whatevs. Proof I finished the costume and wore it.

Sounds familiar. We were forecast 50 degrees Fahrenheit (10C) and a light drizzle. Instead we got heavy snow through the middle of the day. (Fortunately it melted by nightfall.)
I somehow didn't notice the snowflakes in the braid until ptahaegyptus pointed them out. I love your attention to detail!

The winter has been really strange this year here: there has been some crazy event like a freak blizzard every fortnight (even into March). We had a random blizzard on the 12th that closed most of our schools (totally okay with me, I didn't feel like teaching that day anyway). We usually don't see that in March. I think the month came in like a lion and is going to leave like an agitated lion. LOL

Um, I wouldn't say this was a particularly speedy costume. I started it back in September and I'm still working on it, redoing things here and there. The sequin top took me months to complete around work and other obligations. Thank you though I appreciate your comment greatly because I wasn't sure I should even post the pic
