To me, this is the kind of thing I think of when I think about winter. Cold, dreary, lifeless, colourless.I hate winter.

I can imagine, as Canada gets a hell of a lot colder than Britain in winter.
Over here, it very rarely snows, and when it does it's about 5mm and usually lasts just a few hours before melting (not before grinding the country to a halt though, LOL). Though, ironically, as I am typing this it is snowing fairly heavily outside with ten inches already on the ground. It's supposedly the heaviest snow in this part of the UK in over 20 years.
To me, Winter means bitter cold, horrible wet drizzly weather, low sun (a pain when driving), short days with long dark nights, and everybody catching the lurg.
I F***ing hate winter. Later in life I want to move somewhere like Arizona.
