A pencil drawing I did as a gift for my friend's birthday.
I'm happy with the outcome and so was he . Main criticism with it I have is that I made the neck too dark and that the neck is a bit sloppy. I was considering lifting some graphite off it with tape, but didn't want to risk the sticky residue.
I also decided not to add any texture to her white dress, thinking that a full white dress would be nice contrast to the "blackground". Was I right? You tell me!
Maybe I went a bit overboard with the white gel pen... I just like the way it looks all white compared to the gray of erased whites or areas that I attempted to keep white.
