It is very funny, since there is no pretense of seriousness, just parody for our amusement. The fourth wall gets broken on a regular basis, and the creative staff seem to be professional crackfic writers. There are several good reasons to watch.
1. Lee, Tenten, and Neji are a classic Japanese standup team. This gets referenced several times onscreen.
2. Naruto shows up a lot, in full filler-episode mode, and he and Lee become an unstoppable force! (Warning, Naruto taught Lee the Oiroke no Jutsu. )
3. NaruHina, SasuSaku, and SakuLee get mentioned frequently, and mocked because official resolutions haven't happened yet. I still love the NaruHina bits though.Β Β
4. Orochimaru & Kabuto are the obligatory interfering baddies, as per any kids' TV cartoon, complete with Team Rocket sendoff!
5. All the regular Japanese voice actors do their respective characters.
