Another version of Leviathan more sophisticated and in my opinion more abstract and with another concept in mind. This time, we have clearly an encounter (the thirteen one ? Why Thirteen ? ) between two entities. The first, obviously technologic while the second is surely biologic.
What will happen ? War with extraterrestrial entities ? Something like the match against nature and culture ? But who is who ?
