Texture manipulation, vector drawing, bitmap filtering, digital painting. I have some other ideas of strange birds since I work for the next issue of Graphiles, the graphic webzine, on the thematic of Fantastic Bestiary.
Thanks to all for your comment, I am happy to see that all my precedent try to improve some kind of effects (textures and brushes) are apparently successfull.

This one, 2 or 3 hours. But I have this kind of idea in mind since a long time, as many others... So, I can't say exactly how long it took to create it.
I am in holidays these days, so I try to create each hour I am at home.
And I am a bit addict to DA since I have discovered it : too much pictures in mind because of what I see around, to much pleasure to show what I have created. What a wonderfull site...
