Pulse weapons combine Gauss type of projectile acceleration with conventional firearms mechanics. Pulse ammo consists of projectile and a case-battery, which is shaped as a shell casing. Quick chanqable barrel allows to switch to powder ammo in field.

Yay!!! Finally someone who has a futuristic Shotgun. Most people deem them obsolete in the future, but they will always be useful in my opinion.

Shotguns will never becomeΒ obsolete. Even when everyone will have a high armored cyberbodies, shotguns can be equipped with gauss coils and loaded with nailpacks (for example). Anyway, I think, it's a gun for all times.
