This is one hell of a picture!!!
half dark, half lighted and the shadow of the stairs playfully conjoining the two areas!
the windows with the differently coloured curtains... the colours get warmer as the eye moves upwards,
until it reaches the red window, the very center of the photo...
(I actually zoomed in just to see the details inside the intriguing window...).
It could be the opening scene from a movie... ٠•. ٠•˙·˙·٠•. ٠•★
i simply love it ♥♥♥

You're great.
That's about what I saw on that early morning glance. It helped to have a 400mm lens handy, to decide how much to get. Great light is great light. There's no substitute for it. I agree that the contents of that red window are interesting. There seems to be little doll on a swing. Hitchcock's "Rear Window" might be perfect for you, if you don't already know it.
Big thank you.

Hitchcock is my favorite director!
indeed it bears a lot of that film's atmosphere...
must be the bricked wall and the stairs.
Great work once again! damn,i love watching your rear red window...

Sincerely appreciate it. I'm glad you know the film.
Today, by contrast, we are having an early snow storm. I miss that light!

I like it very much but in my opinion the bottom window should have been included in the photo - it would be more balanced. I always enjoy your shots, they travel me around New York!

Thanks a lot, e-l-a-n-i.
I get very little commentary like that. The decision was mostly based upon drapery, but I see your point.
I tend to look 'through' scenes, so things do get cut off.
I appreciate it!
