Description
This painting was done completely in Painter 6 with no reference. It has looser lines and more brush strokes than my normal stuff but I quite enjoyed it, There are a few things I want to fix when I have time, namely the right arm, but for now I am fairly happy with it. I hope you enjoy.

Looks like Icarus, the son of Deadalus who told not to fly too high or else it would melt the wax in his wings which led to him drowning in the sea.

this is gorgeous: the backdrop against the vast wings--
i don't think you should change the title: the olive branch and bird are not the main focus--and so, without the title, one might (usually myself) might miss the branch and completely clue out on the purpose of the work.--the focal pt. is the...erm, guy's...reaction to the olive branch...so...i think the title should be kept
