Oil on Canvas. I found this GP unit idling quietly on a small local shortline one Saturday afternoon. The strong directional light caused a lot of variations in the Amour Yellow (UP's official name for their yellow paint). The rust, grime and bullet holes in the short hood gave the locomotive a lot of character, so I decided to paint a portrait of this little warhorse.Related content
