I love seeing 3D work done as a comic strip - it's something I want to try my hand at next year but it's a steep learning curve!

No doubt whichever program you choose will have one, along with if you choose daz or poser it'll take sometime to build up your library... But, the good news is a lot of the concepts of drawing that you are familiar with transfer over. And with your drawing abilities you'll be able to build or modify so much stuff that you'll get a unique look to your art. It takes time, but I think is worth it. I should share some of my first comics with you, and you'll see how far I've come along... My first one I didn't even know how to move the eyes for the models, so it came out weird...

That's exactly what I want to do - have my own style show through in the 3D models a little bit... I'm using DAZ, and already I want to shape the existing models to look more like my drawings (huge delts, etc), but I have a long way to go! When my next comic is done (hopefully by Xmas) I'm going to put some serious time into learning Daz. I'd be interested to see your 3D progression, you do some great work!
